At the end of each year I look back through my diary and tally up what I’ve achieved, it’s a great exercise to help me understand what I have spent my time doing, an opportunity to give myself a pat on the pack and decide what I need to stop doing in the coming year.

This year, I delivered 162 hours of coaching. Face to face clients typically have 6 sessions with me whereas telephone or skype clients usually have 10 sessions. I chose to have fewer clients this year and be more selective. My ideal client is a woman who wants to take her career or business forward, usually 30 years plus, who is at a point where she is willing to do some work to overcome her fears and own her place in the world. Coaching isn’t cheap, but it delivers outcomes. We filmed live coaching sessions this year, to give people an idea of what coaching looks like and also produced some research to provides insights into how to develop self-confidence.
My clients this year have surpassed themselves, through promotions, increasing their confidence, making career transitions, to making sure their voices are heard on topics that matter most to them. To each and every one of you, I am very proud to have walked alongside you on your journey.

I can’t believe that I have delivered 84 webinars this year, most of which are for corporate clients. Thank you to those who have trusted to me address their audiences. People are more and more comfortable with webinars now; they’re a great way to get some bite size learning during your lunch break. I enjoy webinars best when the audience is active, when they ask questions, provide insights and really want to make the most of the experience. Webinars can be delivered on almost any topic, from goal setting; mental health awareness, coaching skills to assertive communication and much more.

Giving back is close to my heart and its with pleasure this year that I have run 3 teen conferences through the social enterprise that I co founded Rocking Ur Teens, the events celebrated international women’s day in March and International men’s day in November, as well as our first event in the North of England. Over 350 students and their teachers attended. Some of the feedback we had:
“In this short space of time we saw our students grow in confidence and to engage with other students and adults”
“Thought provoking, challenging, supportive contributions from exceptionally well prepared presenters. Thank you Rocking Ur Teens”

Our online coaching programme for busy women who want to develop themselves, achieve their goals and craft the life they want, the Happenista Project, continues to grow from strength to strength now with 630 people enrolled across the three programmes, and an active secret facebook group of supportive women, making things happen their way. We have added monthly facebook lives and face to face meet ups this year, and launched a journal which will aid those participating to surpass their goals during the year.

Our retreats are a vital space to review, reenergise and reimagine your future. We 2 ran transformational women only retreats this year, which again received wonderful feedback.
“I can’t recommend it highly enough. Being here for the two days, I have come back energised and transformed.” said one of our retreaters Katherine Gale

The demand for keynote talks has risen this year, highlights have been travelling to Brussels to speak at the JUMP conference and European Women on Boards event. I speak on a number of topics: Developing a Winning Mindset Success, Assertive Communication, Playing to Your Strengths, Inclusive Leadership, and Being a Coaching Leader and many others.
This is my sixth year facilitating the final day of the ground-breaking Aurora programme and I continue to advocate women in Higher Education.
We launched the #IWillAccelerate programme for black and minority ethnic minority staff in organisations to complement the #IamRemarkable workshops that I have been facilitating for corporate employee resource groups. It’s a joy to do this work, which makes a powerful difference.
We also launched our Presenting with Confidence workshop this year and ran panel discussions sponsored by Sage and hosted by NatWest on focus and reciprocity.

Lastly, I received 2 awards this year, the Wintrade Women Trailblazer highly commended award and the highest Institute of Leadership and Management honorary award of Companion, both were humbly and gratefully received.
Thank you to everyone who has contributed to making 2019 a success, we are truly grateful.
Get in touch and let me know if I can help or support your work next year and watch this space for new and exciting initiatives in 2020 …
